a chemical spill has caused the dead to stand up and walk. barbara's brother is attacked by a zombie and she is forced to run until she finds an abandoned home. she finds another man in the house hiding and the owners of the house in the basement(the dad is a jerk). they decide to bar up the doors. but as the undead start pioling up they have to fight them off and they try several plans to escape will they? you will just have to watch this classic "night of the living dead"

this is a classic and it is the first of its kind. when it came out it terrified its audiences with its surreal depiction of the dead standing up and walking. this film is considered to be one of the all time greatest horror films and for good reason, it has done so much for horror and deserves all the respect it can get. George romero shines and proves himself to be one of the greatest directors of all time

in 1968 gore wasnt as easy to find as it is now but we still get a couple of dead body's some shots to the head and a couple of zombie bites. if you arelooking for a gore fest a suggest you watch romero's other dead films.gore=3/5

there are some dead zombie t&a but no live nudes. nudity=2/5

i give it a 3/5 for scary because when it came out it was one of the most horrifying movies ever made. scary=3/5

when this movie came out the public had never seen anything like it, there for it was probably very strange to them. wierd=4/5

there is alot of zombie action and some big guns.action=4/5

although alot of other zombie movies today have the same story line, when it came out it was very different:story=5/5

overall it is a classic and should be worshiped by any zombie fan because it is what started it all. overall=5/5
