when an old proffesors student calls him to inform him that there is a strange disease sweeping through his town and a number of townsfolk are dying the proffesor hurries to the village. doing an autopsy on one of the bodies he sees that there is something very strange and different going down in the sleepy little town. he soon uncovers the horribal truth of voodoo and zombies and knows that he must stop it before it endangers his life and the life of his daghter.

when my dad brought me home a hammer title called plague of the zombies i had know idea what to expect. a couple days later i got around to popping it in and watching it. i was expecting to much but as i watched this movie i began very much enjoying it. it was very different from what i expected and i ended up very much enjoying the film. it is very riskay for a movie that was made in 1968 and has a little more blood spilling than you usually see in old films like this. i have to say that i do suggest itand with a 9.99 price i myself would by it. there arent much extra features but hey thats why its only ten bucks

Gore: we get some cuts and a pretty cool decapitation

Nudity: none to speak of.

Pace: only a 90 minute movie the pace picks up quite nicely

Scary: the only part i found scary was the zombie who was carrying the doctors daughter

Story: i found the story to be very original and different ffor a zombie film

Overall if you have time run to your nearest wall mart and buy this one, i dought you will regret it
