the story is about a police officer named clarice who doesnt get alot of respect because she is a female. when a series of grizzly murders start occuring she is put on the job.in order to solve the mystery of buffalo bill(who is a transvestite and wheres womens skin)she has to go to a brilliant madman "hannibal lector" who was a cannibal and was caught and put in prison. he only gives her information when she gives him info about herself and personal life

to start off this movie is a brilliant work of art and should be given alot more credit for its genious. the acting is wonderful and it has the greatest story line in the history of horror not to mention a very appealling name

i gave it a 3/5 for gore because there is just enouph to make me want to watch it.

i gave it a 1/5 for nudity because i cant remember if there is or not.

i gave it a 2/5 for scariness because it is more like a spychological thriller than a horror movie.

i gave it a 4/5 for wierdness because buffalo bill and hannibal are freaky

i gave it a 5/5 for story because it has the best one ive seen in horror

overall it is a 5/5 because it is deffinitly a masterpiece
