The first Jeepers creepers had a lot going for it. great atmosphere, awsome character developement, a great villian and not too bad of a story either. Well when they decided to do a remake all they basically took all the things that made the first one work away. The atmosphere is gone, the characters are shit, and the villians truck somehow got completely erased from the story. This is easily inferior to the first one but it still has some things going for it. For one, it scared the hell out of me. The creeper was shown a lot more and he is not pretty. The suspence stayed as in the first one and also the gore. One thing that bothered me A LOT was that there was about 15 kids on the bus and only about 4 or 5 got killed. The movie was setup so that it could have been a good old fashion slaughter fest. Teens dying left and right! But they spared most of them even the less important characters.Which leads me too the characters. I hated all of them, contrary to the first i was rooting for the creeper the whole friggin time. As in the first one they decided they had to add the completely pointless psychic. I mean really, what does she do for the story.....NOTHING! It would have been better off without her. Anyways, to break it all down for you the movie was alright. If you liked the first then this is worth a rental...i guess. It had great potential but didnt use more than 20% of it.
Gore: a few pretty cool deaths including a cool decaptitation but there could have been a lot more.
Nudity: nope none at all
Pace: a fair pace, i didnt really get bored.
Scary: the creeper freaked me out and there was a lot of suspence
Story: shit
Overall the movie was below average and could have been better. doesnt measure up to the original
