a town called ammity(how ironic) has a shark problem. a number of recent attacks have gotten people scared especially the town sherrif. the towns mayor only cares about money and publicity so he refuses to close down the beaches. so it is up to the sheriff, a fisherman and a shark expert to stop the creature

i had heard alot about this movie for a while before i watched it. and when i watched it i was pleasently surprised. i didnt think you actually got to see the shark as much as you do and being that its a spielberg film i didnt think that there would be much blood. but there was enough to satisfy. great movie overall and a classic

gore:a couple of nasty shark bites, a human head the works!

nudity: none except for that naughty shark!

action: ya! it starts in the beggining and goes on a great pace the entire film

scary: you bet your ass a giant man eating shark is scary. the attacks are terrifying

wierd: well its a bit strange that a giant man eating shark is eating people but other than that not really

story: i loved the story, it was very interesting and i couldnt take my eyes off the screen.

overall its a classic and should not be missed!
