Kids go to a secluded cabin in the middle of the woods for a week of fun. but what they get is the ultimate in terror. the attic door opens and the two guys go and exploer, they find a tape recorder and a book that is bound in human flesh and inked in human blood. they take the stuff upstairs and play the tape recorder. the tape plays and a spell in a different language is recited which allows the dead to posess the living. one by one the teens become possesed until all that is left is poor ash who has two kill his friends in order for the horror to siece. terrifying and terrific are the only words to describe this classic. the film may be low budget and it may have some of the fakist scenes in the world along with tones of slipups but it is still one of the greatest horror films ever made. screw renting this. go buy it! Gore: tones of it! we get a bodily dismemberment, a pencil in the ankle, a beheading, a girl bites her own hand off ,a girl gets raped by trees, lots of greenish bodily fluids and tones of red stuff. fun times! nudity: a quick topless scene seen from the window, and a scene where the tree is raping her! action: tones of it, nonstop! scary: this film creeped me out alot. there are some pretty scary parts. the girl in the cellar is terrifying and the laghing girl is bizzare. wierd: one of the wierdest movies ive ever seen story: the stoery is very dark and original overall one of the greatest films ever made, deffinitly check it out!
