i was bored so i watched this movie on a rainy afternoon. i am a big fan of vincent price and most all of his movies.i like watching old movies like this because they prove that a movie can still be scary without alot of gore and good special effects, although i do think they did a good job with the special effects they had at that time. i do suggest it although it does get boring from time to time and theres only 2 deaths
gore: only parts with blood is a cheesy really fake looking stabbing and also a head inside of a sculpture.
nudity: ya right! not even a kiss, they werent aloud at this time
action: a little on the slow side although the pace is alright.
scary: very cheesy green eye affect that wouldnt scare a 2 year old, but the horla has a creepy voice.
wierd: its wierd how friggin cheesy that green eye affect is hahahaha
story: it is based off a book and the story is the best aspect of this movie besides vincent prise
overall it was a cool classic and vincent price did a good job. i suggest it for a rainy day
