Of course, the #1 passion in my life since I was 5 years old has been video games. I have been through lots of game systems over the years. I've been from the Nintendo and Game Boy to the Super Nintendo and Sega Genisis to the Sony Playstation and Sega Dreamcast to the Playstation 2. I will be getting the Playtstation 3 when it comes out, and I will probably be playing Playstation 15 when I am old and senile. Video Games are a way you can escape from reality. In real life: when you get robbed by someone in the streets, what do you do?: probably piss yourself hoping he doesn't shoot or stab you. In the Video Game realm: get a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and BE the guy robbing other people, stealing cars and getting away with it. In real life: when you are a big high school baseball prospect, and you choke big time at the game that the big league or college scouts attend, what do you do?: go home dissapointed and never make it to the big leagues and work a dead-end job the rest of your life. In the Video Game realm: get a copy of MVP Baseball 2004 and be Jeff Bagwell hitting the game winning homerun in the bottom of the 9th inning. In real life: when you get a speeding ticket doing 90 on the interstate what do you do?: sit there and shut up, looking like a dumbass while the State Trooper writes you a $300 ticket. In the Video Game realm: get a copy of Gran Turismo 4 and tear up the roads with your suped up Chevy Corvette or Dodge Viper. As I said before, video games are my passion and will be until the day I die. |
