Then you will face this guy, his name is Protoman. You will face him in a couple of other stages. You can't kill him, just keep shooting him until he goes away. Keep moving away from his bullets and make sure that he doesn't keep jumping on you. |

You will come across this thing right before you face Hard Man. Best just to wait until it gets against the wall and then jump down to the right of it and run straight to the door. |

When fighting Hard Man, it is very hard to dodge his bullets because they come back at you after they pass you up. Just make sure you move out of the way when he goes in the air and tries to stomp down on you Right after you move, keep shooting until you have to move again. It helps if you have the energy tank that you come across earlier in the level. I'm not sure which special weapon kills him fast because I always did this stage first. |
