I have been an Astros fan for a long time. I'm not like a lot of the baseball fans around this area and just root for a team that wins, like the Yankees or the Braves. I liked the Astros back when they couldn't even get a winning record, I liked them when they were going to the playoffs and losing in the first round, and I still like the Astros. On this page, I will try to keep updates on the Astros as much as I can, along with a some of my thoughts on any game or situation that I post on this page.
Hopefully, this year the Astros can get something done, they have added a few players in the last couple of years with some playoff experience. So, maybe they will go somewhere this year.
May 26: Maddux gets pissed as the Astros hammer his ass. Hope Pettitte is OK though: Astros 7, Cubs 3
May 28: Astros come back late, but get screwed over by a stupid-ass balk call: Cardinals 2, Astros 1
May 30: Astros come off of playing a really crappy game by playing a very good one: Astros 7, Cardinals 1
June 2: The Astros finally give Clemens some run support as his record goes to 8-0: Astros 5, Cubs 1
June 8: Clemens continues his dominating pitching, maybe the Astros will pull themselves out the damn hole they have dug themselves into: Astros 1, Mariners 0
June 9: Astros get second sraight shutout: Astros 3, Mariners 0
June 14: Clemens is dealt first loss as Astros continue to play like crap: Cubs 7, Astros 2
June 17: The Astros decide to be stupid and trade Richard Hidalgo to the Mets for two pitchers that I have never heard of: Hidalgo Trade
June 22: Astros get third win in a row and move closer to the Cardinals in the Central Division.: Astros 5, Pirates 4
June 24: Astros get Carlos Beltran in trade with Royals: Beltran Trade
July 2: Astros beat Rangers, but still 6 games out of the division lead(Ensberg finally hit a homerun!!!!!!): Astros 7, Rangers 5
July 3: Ensberg hits Grand Slam as Astros beat the Rangers again to take the lead in the Lone Star Series: Astros 10, Rangers 8
October 11: YES!!!!!! The Astros have advanced to the NLCS!!!! The Astros are moving on and the Braves are going home: Astros win NLDS 3 games to 2
Well, I am proud to say that the Astros have finally won a playoff series. What makes it even sweeter is that it was against the Braves. So, Braves you can kiss my ass, because the Astros just got finished whipping yours.
