Tolkien's Istari

The Istari of middle-earth are wizards. Tall, wise and powerful, they have a choice of whether to use their powers for good or for evil. Here they must make wise choices. In the Lord of the Rings story they are sent to help middle-earth fight Sauron, the evil Lord of the Ring. The wizards in the Lord of the Rings are played by Ian McKellen and Christopher Lee.
