Tolkien's Elves

The elves are the most fairest creatures to dwell in middle-earth. They are graceful, elegant, tall and have pointy ears. They are also immortal, and although they are not subject to disease, sickness or age they can be slained. In the Lord of the Rings story, the elves are planning to leave the shores of middle-earth forever because the time of the elves is over under the dominence of the world of men. The elves in The Lord of the Rings are played by Liv Tyler(Arwen), Hugo Weaving (Elrond), Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Orlando Bloom (Legolas) and Craig Parker (Haldir).
