Hello. My name is Melanie. I'm 39 years young. I'm married and have a teenage daughter. Whom I love very much. She is 17 and has her permit.. Where does the time go..... I use to work for Hedstrom Corporation as a Robot Welder Operator. However, the plant has shut down Oct. of 04. I miss the people that I worked with. If any of you are reading this, I hope everything is going well for you. I kinda liked my job too. Just didn't like inhaling the welding fumes.
I went back to school again and I graduated from Compu-Tech Learning Center. I had so much fun learning. I took Business Office Computer Technology, Web design, and Desktop Publishing. I've learned alot. I finished my externship at Love INC. Bev and Leah are awesome. They help so many people with their ministry. May God Bless you both! Right now I'm working at Bedford County Development Association full time as of Jan. 2, 2008. Bette is good person to work for. She keeps me moving and the days go fast. I've learned alot over the past year and 9 months i worked then before I got hired on. Now I'm showing our new VP the ropes.
I am still persuing my relationship with God. He has opened my eyes up to so many things and shown me things I didn't know. God is always there for me to draw strength off of when I need it most. He is with me all the time. Everywhere I look I can see Him. When I talk to my mother I see one of God's miracles. I love you Mom!! God is awesome!!
My hobbies are making wingbone turkey calls, dreamcatchers, mandellas, and friendship bracelets. I also like playing on line spades, literati, pyramids, and canasta. You can mostly catch me in Yahoo Games or in Pogo . If you want to play a good game of spades you can find urself a partner and team up against me and my Pal. We will definately give you a good close game.
I also love to read. My favorite author is Dean Koontz. My favorite book series is "Left Behind". I found a new author that I really like. Karen Kingsbury. Her books are hard to put down.
I like a variety of types of music: Prince, Outkast, Audioslave, Kid Rock, Toby Keith, Evanescense, etc. But since I've been saved I mostly listen to Praise and Worship music.
My favorite night-time Tv drama is Charmed. Daytime would have to be Y&R and B&B. I am also horror movie nut. I like the sit on the edge of your seat and be prepared for anything kinda movies. To name a few...I Know Who Killed Me, the Saw movies, Return to the House on Haunted Hill. I also love The Horse Whisperer. If you haven't seen this movie you should buy it or rent it and watch it. Its a real tear jerker. The last movie I have seen is I Know Who Killed Me..
