We had our Pastors and leaders meeting in Dangriga last month. This a follow-up to the one we had here in Nov.05. What we plan to do is for the churches throughout this region to pray and fast for the month of August. The purpose of this is to reclaim the month of Aug. our Garifuna people have given to the enemy we want to give it back to the Lord. So we will start with prayer and fasting in Dangriga on the 1st August. Each church that has agreed to participate will then pray and fast at there place of worship until the end of the month when we again gather in Dangriga to conclude. Let us know if you would like a day to pray and fast with us and what day you guys will be able to do this from your place. God Bless

The project will be done in three phases.
- construction of the church building costing at least $100,000 including all the facilities and equipment along with my personal home in Georgetown as well.
- youth recreation center- including use of computers and internet, games, videos ect
- guest house to house our visitors ect
Currently, services are held monthly(Saturday nights) in Garifuna with Pastor Edwin Castillo, myself and Pastor Wayne Lopez from the Baptist Church at Pomona. Others also conduct services and ministry work at intervals. Youth with a mission team(YWAM) have been visiting regularly and are involved in the work there as well.

We continue to have Sunday school for adults and children. Bible club on Thursdays for ages 9-12. We visit Barranco every 2 weeks, we wish that we could go more but transportation is a major problem for us at the moment.
