| Rules There are 8 groups in the first round, pick the country you think will win, and come runners-up in their round. After the first round, you pick the winner for the round of 16, quarter finals, semi-finals and of course the round ball WC final. Scoring Round one: 1 point for every team in the top 2 of each Group. An extra point for picking the team in the right position. Maximum of 4 points/group, 32 points overall. Round of 16 2 points for every game, maximum of 16 points Quarter- and Semi-Finals 3 points for every game, maximum of 18 points Round ball WC Final (who cares about 3rd?!) 4 points Deadlines Round one tips must be emailed to Gareth ([email protected]) or Ben ([email protected]) the day before the start (ie you must send by mid-night 30th May). Round of 16 14th June, Quarter finals 20th June, Semi-finals 24th June, Final 28th June. Pocket drainer $10 to enter, money to be submitted by the end of the first round (14th June). Pocket filler Prizes for first, second and third, and a bonus place (revealed at the conclusion of the WC � judges may take bribes of 10% more than the prize to be received). Tie-breakers Order of deciding tie-breakers. 1. Selecting winner of the round ball WC final 2. Most number of correct tips AFTER the 2nd round, then 3. Most correct numbers of group winners.
