| [00:56] | Guten Abend, Hamburg! Guten Abend, Deutschland! Es ist schön, hier zu sein. Is that... I don't know. I'm Scottish. I'm sorry. Danke, daß ihr gekommen seid. Das nächste Lied ist auf unserer neuen CD. Es heißt "Calling all stations". | |||||

| [00:53] | Danke very much! ... It always worries me a little bit at this stage in the evening because they've given me a stool here. I don't think they've quite realized that I'm not as the rest of the band are, but, ah, I'll take it anyway. This next song, talking of old, goes back, oh, a long long way, and it was written when I was five years old, and ... I know all the words. Impressive. "Carpet Crawlers" | |||||

| 2.01 | [15:38] | [03:32] | [...]day night in Hamburg, it's a good thing. Okay. Now there is, there is one very big problem with being in Genesis that I found out about a year and a half ago. Women. It's true! We don't get the women. It's one of those things. I mean it's not as if we're that bad-looking, really, but, apart from Mike, but he can't help it. Ahm ... I always do that, so he's +entitled+. So these robots here, we take 'em back to the hotel at night. It's technology. So these robots here, they are our girls. This is Andrew's girl, she's from Ireland, she's from Dublin, beautiful green eyes, what do you think of her? [audience cheers] It's true. And Mike, well Mike's girl, Mike's girl is always very very happy, all the time, always smiling, and there is a reason: Sehr gut ausgestattet. I'll tell you later. They know! It's a great word, ausgestattet, it's a brilliant word, I like that. It's my favourite German word. Now, Nir. You noticed there's two covers there with Nir. That is, of course, because she is the drummer's girlfriend and she has, of course, a split personality because of it. So that's his girl. And she's been learning a few moves to try and impress Nir, and this is... what about that? ... You're easily pleased, Nir. Now... Oh, yeah... Now Tony's robot is actually a man. No don't. Thankfully you didn't hear that. Tony's girl is actually from Germany. Yes, she takes the flag everywhere. She's called Adelheid and I think that's her easier name to remember it, and she likes to demonstrate what she does for Tony when they are in bed together, so this is kind of what happens. Impressive, very impressive. But sadly, sadly Tony's not getting any younger and this tends to be what happens now. +Covers back then+ Very sad. Look, it's so difficult. There's the girls. Now sadly, sadly, I have nobody. I have no one. You don't sound very bothered. I have nobody at all so that's why I came to Hamburg to look for the right person. I wonder, is she there somewhere? Anyone? There's an awful lot of men here, so don't worry. Just think, though, if I find the right woman you can come back to me to Scotland and we can spend long romantic weekends together. What do you think? Hamburg? We do that in Scotland. Now, long romantic weekends. And guess where we can spend them? At my home by the sea. | |||

| [01:02] | Thank you very much. ... Well, we must be doing something right. We've got the acoustic guitar out now. It's that time of the evening. We did a launch of our album in Berlin last, ah, August I think it was, and we played a few songs acoustically there, and got a bit of a feel for it. So we thought we could do it on the tour as well. So, a couple of these songs go way way back. See if you can recognize this. | |||||
