In the Breeding Center, you can see various subspecies of giant turtles from Isabela island, in enclosures where adults reproduce.
In other enclosures, you can see baby turtles of 1-2 years old.
In the new interpretation building, builded in 2004, you will find a lot of information about the island, the fauna and flora, as well as on the geology and volcanic activity.
You will be able to buy various souvenirs from the island in the small shop of the National Park.
Getting there
You can go there walking by the interpretation paths through arid-zone vegetation, such as salt bush, mangroves, cacti and wetland landscapes where you will observe a lot of birds such as flamingos, black-necked stilt, white cheeked pintail...
Or you can go there by taxi for 2 USD.
