Departure…

The eleven Whose Line contestants regrouped in a park not far from the abc studios. They stood in a line looking over the side of a bridge and admired the lights bouncing off the water.
"So what now?" Ryan eventually asked.
          "We wait," Colin sighed.
Everyone stared at the water until Drew piped up.
"Hey, I've gotta film tomorrow…I'll see ya round buddy," he smiled, slapped Colin on the back and wandered off.
Next to leave was Chip. "I should go too…I need a doctor anyway," he mused and half-hobbled off.
There were a few minutes before Wayne wandered over and put an arm around Colin.
"I'll see you around dude," he smiled and then walked away.
The remaining friends gave Greg a horrified look as he ditched his cigarette butt into the water.
"Hey ducks need nicotine too…I'll call…" he perked and skipped into the distance.
"Colin you've totally traumatised me…but I love you anyway, Brad laughed, pulled Colin into a tight hug and then sauntered away.
A few minutes went by before Tony piped up. He didn't take his eyes off the water as he spoke.
"Thank you for letting me be part of Whose Line again."
Both Tony and Richard then departed.
Steve didn't say a word, instead he pretended to tip his hat and disappeared into the night.
Josie turned to the two remaining contestants, Ryan and Colin and smiled.
"You two never cease to amaze me…suppose I'll have to go back to playing Lady Macbeth again now…ah well."
Josie kissed both men and then left, leaving only Colin and Ryan on the bridge.
"You freak me out, you know that," Ryan mused.
"Of course…I'm your best friend," Colin smiled.
"You think we'll get arrested?" Ryan asked.
"For what? We haven't done anything," Colin grinned.
Ryan smiled and shook his head, Colin was right. There was no proof.
"So what you going to do now? I mean in case Whose Line is left dead and buried?" Ryan queried.
"I don't know…plot another scheme maybe," Colin replied.
Ryan looked at Colin slightly worried.
          "I'm kidding," Colin laughed.
"Since when were you so evil and scheming, you shocked us all?" Ryan asked.
"Since I discovered that you don't have to be on stage to act," Colin said, smiling wryly.
Ryan narrowed his eyes but said nothing. He hugged his friend instead to avoid conversation and then walked down the bridge without looking back.
Colin turned back to the water and smiled. He felt a weight lift off his shoulders and an overwhelming sense of power at his disposal.
Power that he cold use for good…or evil. No! There was no need for that now. The devil was gone and angels now sat on both his shoulders.
Although there was something tempting about being a bad boy, he had a sudden image of himself on a Harley in a leather jacket and dark sunnies.
Colin laughed as he made his way off the bridge and out of the park.
