Orders and Revelations…

Colin sat in the shadows watching the fun and festivities unfolding before him. Drew had turned what was supposed to be a serious meeting into a raging party. Ryan was slaving over a barbecue while Drew himself handed out copious amounts of beer.
Colin could feel his blood boiling; how dare they not take him seriously. He decided it was now or never, he had to take control.
Colin got to his feet and wandered over to where the stereo was pumping out loud music. He switched it off and waited for silence to descend over the crowd. Then he turned to the waiting audience and smiled.
"I'm glad to see you are all having so much fun…" he began.
"Hey, it’s a party isn't it," Greg giggled.
"IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FUN," Colin yelled.
Everyone paled and took a step back.
"You all know why you're here…this is your last chance to back out. I'm going to walk inside and anyone who doesn't follow is free to leave…but if you spill your guts, by Jesus I'll do more than put dog poo through your letter box," Colin announced gruffly and then slowly turned and wandered inside.
Everyone looked at everyone else and then began to make there way inside. Except for Wayne who stayed seated on a plastic chair.
Ryan removed his apron and wandered over.
"You backing out Brady?" he growled.
"I don't think the whole 'against the law thing' is really me," Wayne babbled.
"Get your ass inside before I rip ya a new one," Ryan snapped, towering over Wayne.
"Ok," Wayne peeped and dashed inside.

Everyone piled into Drew's living room, with Colin standing at the front.
"My, we are a dedicated bunch," he smiled deviously.
"Yeah dude, that's it?" Greg sarced.
"Enough frivolity, down to the business at hand," Colin began. "As you all know I want to resurrect Whose Line, that wonderful show that made us all household names, because I believe since those abc bastards slayed our comedy dragon, life hasn't been the same for any of us."
          "I agree," Chip piped up.
"Yeah baby," Ryan chided in his best Felicity Shagwell voice.
Chip sunk as far as he could into Drew's sofa.
Colin took a breath and then continued. "Now here's what I want to do…I want us to get hold of the old studio and broadcast a special Whose Line to all of the U.S."
"How are we gonna do that without getting caught?" Wayne asked, his lack of confidence in the whole idea showing.
"I was just getting to that…each of you will have a different role…starting with Drew," Colin smiled.
"Bring it on baby," Drew chirped. He'd had one to many beers and no longer cared.
"Drew, you will go to the abc studios and get the Whose Line set re-established," Colin stated.
"Oh yeah, how am I gonna do that?" Drew asked.
"Lie of course…say you're having a Whose Line party…and pay a few stage hands to do it…you're rich and famous no one is going to question you," Colin replied.
          "Yes sir," Drew mused.
"Steve and Brad…You two will pose as security guards and usher the audience from another show into the studio where you will lock them in."
          Steve and Brad nodded.
"Drew, I also want you to address the crowd and get ideas for the games."
          "Oh man…two jobs," Drew huffed.
"Wayne I want you to pose as a janitor."
          "Oh dude," Wayne whined.
"This will give you ample opportunity to sneak about and find the old security videos…we need to use a previous video to make it look like the studio is still unoccupied."
"How will we get that past the guards?" Chip piped up.
          "Not us…You."
          "Oh dear god," Chip gulped.
"Josie, you will distract the guards while Chip puts the video in."
"Oh so that's why I'm here," Josie sulked. "Great tits and a British accent."
"Tony, you will play a stupid English tourist getting a tour of the studio…I want you to find out how the control room works and what we do to project Whose Line country wide."
"Not a problem…I shall have the information by tomorrow evening," Tony giggled.
"Greg, I want you to go to an outdoor shop and get climbing gear…like ropes and anything else that might be of use."
"Oh they're gonna believe I'm a mountaineer," Greg mused.
"Ryan…buddy…you have the most important task of all."
Ryan crossed himself and muttered the few words of the Lord's Prayer he actually knew.
"Your task is to be wardrobe mistress and find our clothes…the bright shirts and ill-fitting slacks."
Giggles broke out from amongst the crowd.
          "Gee thanks Col," Ryan grumbled.
"Oh, and take Richard with you…he might come in handy for something…I dunno."
Richard smiled, happy to be included.
"SILENCE," Colin yelled and then dropped his voice to a more controlled tone. "Now are you all aware of what you are doing?"
There was a resounding and unconfident 'Yes.'
"Are there any questions?" Colin asked.
"Since when were you such a self indulgent git?" Richard piped up.
"Since I became a black belt in Tai Bo…my body is a deadly weapon," Colin hissed. "Hey he does talk," Ryan perked, looking excitedly at Richard.
"I told you…I've been telling you for years," Tony spat.
Ryan in a mature gesture poked his tongue out at the back of Tony's head.
Colin rung his hands and grinned, tomorrow Whose Line would be back and so would his beloved dinosaur impression.
