| Name: Jody Garber E-mail: [email protected] URL: http://www.geocities.com/garber42003/index.html Baby's name(s): Shaina & Nathan Gender: Girl & Boy (although I have no physical evidence of Nathan's gender~ a mother knows) Birthdate: January 1, 1999 & May 16, 1999 Deathdate: Same as above Cause of death: Stillborn at 25 weeks & miscarried at 7 weeks...unknown cause. Additional comments: When I concieved Shaina, I was exactly 16 1/2. I was living with my boyfriend (he's my husband now). It was on my 17th b-day that we went in for a regular doctor's appt. & found out Shaina died suddenly (they couldn't find her heart beat & I had an ultrasound to confirm the worst). So, barely 17...I gave birth to my dead baby girl, who I wanted & loved so much...and had to plan a funeral for my own child. Five & a half months after loosing Shaina, I miscarried my son Nathan. What a nightmare. So much to go through at such a young age. Additional comments: I found out I was pregnant when I was 15, I lost my baby on May 29th, I went in and got another pregnancy test on June 11 and turned out in fact I really had lost my child and she was gone. She is missed by her mommy and daddy. We love her so much. I run an online support group for people who have lost children. I think that Kenzie would have wanted me to help her friend's in Heavens' parents to grieve them like I am grieving Kenzie. She means so much to me and always will. |
| Name: Amanda Lynn E-mail: [email protected] Baby's name: Shaina Nicole Lynn Gender: Girl Birthdate: October 9, 2001 Deathdate: October 10, 2001 Cause of death: She had a really bad heart problem that the doctors could not fix. She weighed 4 pounds 15 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long. Additional comments: When I got pregnant with Shaina, I was 17 years old and I was 7 weeks along when I found out. The doctors said I could not have her because I could die...I have a kidney disease that they can't fix. Well, I went on with the pregnancy anyways. When I was about 18 weeks, I started having pains in my stomach, so I was taken to the hospital and they told me she had a heart problem, a bone missing from her brain and her stomach was on the wrong side. So pretty much my baby was really sick and I could do nothing. It was out of my hands and the doctors hands. Now it was up to God to make her a healthy baby. |
