THE WIND THAT WRAPS

THE WIND THAT WRAPS

Wind, omnipresent, that you are
Wrapping me in your cold arms
felt it and sent chills through my body
looked around, never have I seen you.

Your memory, let it be known to me
My heart torn out cold by you
Mouth open to let you in my soul
Breathe, I began to exhale you.

Lonely yet I feel you
The presence of you, I know
The coldness, you breezed
The aloneness, not able to see you.

Like the wind, I can feel you but not see
Like you, the wind left me cold and alone.
