On Still Waters

On Still Waters

And now my fingers slip
Baring no more of past's pain
Mending the unthreaded fiber of my soul
Screams of the past fades to an echo

Revived ravaged soul, awaken
A burst of prism pierced my chest
A rebirth - a refreshing start.
A reunion - a time for pardon.

An inch my cheeks raise
A gleam of hope colors my horizon
My eyes' covers expires as the moon beam hits
My heart - like the sound of rain after the storm has passed.

Augment my soul some more, ecstatic
Let the past be a lesson for today.
Tears kiss the shore to an end
Leaving the boat on my still waters.
