You never got it my friend
What was damaged was damaged
Nothing can bring it up nor revive
I accept, forgive and move
It is not just a matter of fault
Appreciation, Want and Value were nowhere
Never had I had glimpsed them from you
But I never gave up on looking beyond
Crumbling and chipping the bridge as day passes
Rain seem to soften the whole tension
Pouring down on our foreheads
But the Ice was getting thin
The walls have crumbled and the entrance barred
I on the other hand wanted the gates to be open
But making it so easy for you makes you unlearn more
Trysts, pacts were never held but rather shattered
Relying that you can negotiate when the sun rises
I am asking for you not to be unconditional
Nor am I asking you to be there on every covenant
I ask for the honesty to be unwebed and demystified
So as to be crystal about things, so as to be clear.
