TRY

Trying to mend broken tears
Trying to love myself all these years
Trying to be perfect as a circle
Trying to keep my tears hidden but it trickled

Trying to be with people
Trying to struggle my way up the ladder
Trying not to be crippled
Trying not to be sadder

Trying to keep you in my embrace
Trying to kiss you but never happened
Trying to keep you warm in my heart
Trying to say the word love but nothing came out

Trying to hide it but later found
Trying to hold on but have to let go
Trying to live without you haunting me
Trying to penetrate your heart of stone

Trying to end this poem and I am
Trying to sleep without you in it.
