On My Terrain

On My Terrain

Surreal heavens cried as I unleash the hurt
The birds seem to go Eastward as I gnash my teeth
My heart withers upon hearing the words of rejection
Like cold rain penetrating my warm skin

I ravaged against tides that tore my chest apart
I have stretched these tired arms to envelope you
I longed for the time when all things are on a plane of truth
Where both are on equal terrains and trying to get each other's drift.

Alas, my heart was shattered by mere words.
Unexpected of me to go down beyond my boundaries
Unexpected of me to swallow that notched pride
Alas, my world falls beneath my cheeks, tears.
