Kicking Back One Afternoon

Kicking Back One Afternoon

Funny how words can pierce
Your heart like daggers
Ripping
Tearing
Beating Flesh
Chilling bone
Clasping the grasp of reality we each must have
So few
I you think about it
Yet so many
Not enough when the moment is now
Too many when the moment is then
Creating a vocabulary on luck-of-the-dice
Hoping our brains will spill out our favourite words
Romancing
Clumbsily
Romancing Clumbsily
Reaching out your tounge to the roof of your mouth
To press against the brain and control conciousness
I wish people would realize this
That it is all just spontaneous
Like a truck in a ditch
The swerving
The earth rotating not around you but you
Around its small spot
Clambering with the words that in throat are hard to eat
Clunky, but soul yet knowing its passion of control
But the words cannot come
So take silence and meditation
So that next time you may find them
That are Lost.
