A vibrant ray, you enlightened
Warming the eve as we go along

Although our universe collapsed on the day I left
I find myself lured back to your trap
Indulging on minute passions,
absorbing the essence.

Vast ocean riptides enveloped my heart with pain
Wanting to let the waves sweep me to you.
Drifting along turbulent seas; waiting.
Fear and uncertainty, non-existent.

The secrecy of all I choose to keep
Locked away from vague inquiries and lies
Awaiting for its unearthing
While dreaming the dream of the damned.
