| Tuesday, 11 November, 2003 Well lots has been happening lately. I'm living back in pattaya for a start, with KIm, Larissa, Stef, Stan and Erin. It's good fun here, I do enjoy it. and it's a lot closer to Samet, which is always handy. So Tara and Franzi are in Bangkok by themselves, Jesse has left us and gone to work in Pai, a small town in Northern Thailand. Tom, Dave's replacement is here in Pattaya too, but he lives in a seperate apartment. We just had Loy Kratong, the festival of floating light. Which was great. I went to Koh Samet so I could see the celebrations there, Larissa stayed on the Friday night, then went to Bangkok, and Stan stayed on the Saturday night. Everyone else went to Bangkok. Chong's brother was also there, it was nice to meet him, he's 4 or 5 years older than Chong, but is a lot shier and doesn't speak much English. He looks a lot like CHong though which was kinda weird. He seemed very nice. Next week Stan and I will be going to Koh Chang. wednesday, 27 august, 2003 i can't believe it's been two months since i wrote in this. it's not that i've just been slack for the last two months, it's coz it's been holidays. but i can't believe it's been two months! it's gone so fast! a few things are different this term, i'm living in bangkok now, with tara, dave and jesse. it's sad to leave pattaya, coz i like it there, but this is nice and different i guess. we've also got two new gappies, kim from botswana, who is great, and franziska from germany who i haven't met yet. but i will because we're all going to samet this weekend. it'll probably be the only time when all eleven of us (that's a lot isn't it?) will be together, because sophie is going back to england soon. over the holidays, delphi came over from australia for four weeks. we went scuba diving, did our advanced course, which was fantastic. went to koh pha ngan with delphi and larissa and her friend erika. went to the full moon party again, and enjoyed it much more this time. went to chiang mai, checked out the grand palace in bangkok. and then after delphi went home, went to koh samet to stay with my boyfriend chong, and stayed there for three weeks (the rest of the holidays.) |
