Donghu (East Lake) is very beautiful. The water and the caves are so impressive. But it was a little hard to find a nice angle to take pictures since we were in the moving boats, i.e. we were in the scene ourselves! I love this lake very much.
Lan Ting is famous for a great calligrapher Wang Xizhi in the ancient time. I was standing in front of the pavilion with a tiny crab on my shoulder. Did you notice that? | The fan in my hand had the two words on it (Lan Ting--Orchid Pavilion). Do I look like a calligrapher too?
At Lang Ting. I like this photo for it's interesting layout. (From up to below: Zhuyg, Xiaoping, Zhaoyh and me) | Xianheng restaurant, famous for Kong Yiji, a poor "intellectual" in Luxun's story. I took a photo with his statue. This restaurant was stylish, reminiscent of a simple and relished past life style. A must-visit place though you may not care for its food. ;-)
My colleagues and I went to Jinggang Mountain for a few days around May 1, 2001. We had a great time.
At the waterfall. Eric, me, Iota, Xiaoping and Zhuyg. (From left to right) | At the Former Home

At the Wild Zoo, Shanghai. In May, 2001. How small, cute and adorable these pet monkeys are! They liked the peanuts in my palm. | At Wuzhen, an ancient town not far from Shanghai. March, 8, 2001. I like this dye house. This resembles to some degree a scene in a movie of Zhang Yimou.
Well, surely these are not me, but the cute little pet monkeys. Hehe. ;-)
Actually I don't like this picture too much, because the photographer did not allow me to laugh! | Haha! Look at me in Japanese kimono with a Chinese fan!
