The highlight of the
Navy Ball 2000 was the depiction of a typical traditional Naval Officers Wedding. At the stroke of mid-night on the Navy Ball day, amidst fanfare and fire-works, the Navy Bride and Groom walked down the ramp flanked by the gorgeous models who had been delighting the crowds with their wares, and accompanied by ceremonial sword wielding brother officers. The marriage ceremony had the crowd in a frenzy when the groom kissed the bride (on popular demand of course!!!).The Commanding Officer and the First Lady then blessed the bride and the groom, with the traditional gifts of flowers, champagne and other assorted gifts!
And who were the Bride and the Groom?????
YOURS TRULY! Who are happily married for the last six years and have a charming four year daughter, Nisha!Anyway, YOURS TRULY enjoyed the romp on the ramp and for having the privilege and honor of being selected as the "Marrying Couple 2000".
