Both have incredible finger control, and both have, at one time or another, sung songs that ended up on Videoke. Loggins is more determined (after all, he has conviction of the heart), and will footloose his way to the belt. Taylor does have that stupid hat, though, and the hourglass is on his side (not to mention the audience).
Winner: Loggins. Whenever Taylor sees Loggins' smiling face, he has to smell himself, and will promptly knock himself out. Don't fight it.
