NETWORK

A network can be of any size.For eg, a small business can create a network by connecting as few as two computers for sharing files.A network can also connect millions of computer to exchange information all over the world.The world's largest network is the internet.
Network users can usually required to identify themselves before they can gain access to the information on a network.This is known as logging on.
Each user must enter a personalized login name and passsword to access a network.By keeping the information secret,users can prevent unauthorized people from accessing the network.

PERMANENT NETWORK

TEMPORARY NETWORK

"Before networks, people used floppy disks to exchange information between computers.This method of exchanging information is called sneakernet. This is slower and less reliable than a computer network."
