The original wooden temple was renovated & a new stone temple was built in 1760 A.D. The Temple is tiled and it encircles around two lakes. The shape of the stone is in form of the letter 'shree' and faces toward the east. There are two Sanctums in the temple. The inner Sanctum is quite big and is 15 feet high. The outer sanctum is 12 feet high and it has a rat with Modak in his hands and facing Ganesh. The Hall of the temple is about 40 feet long and 20 feet broad and has 8 pillars resembling the Cyprus throne tree. The Idol of Vinayaka sits on a stone throne and faces toward the east and its trunk is bent toward the left. Shiny diamonds are embedded in the eyes & the naval. The background is silver where one finds Riddhi and Siddhi with chamaras.
