As a part of the grade 8 science program at Gandatsetiagon Public School, students will be required to completed a research project to be submitted as an HTML file and accessible for evaluation via the internet. The project must be focussed on a technological advancement in the field of optics.

The research should include pages (Or sections marked with anchors on each of the following topics)

1. A picture or diagram, labelled, showing the item being researched.

2. An overview of the history of the item (ie when was it first invented, how has it been improved, who was the inventor, etc...)

3. How does the item function (this should be the most detailed section)

4. What are the specific uses of this item.

5. What is the benefit to mankind

All sources must be listed in a reference section for the project, and should be inserted as hyperlinks if the source cited was an online source.
