PERIOD 1	Science- Water Systems Did- Took up Hwk. and watched filmstrip on studying oceans. Homework- Diagram on different ocean zones and questions on textbook page 40-41 # 3, 7.	Math- Did- Took up hwk. on pg. 87 # 1-16. Got into groups and did different angle questions. Worked on worksheet about angles. Took up the sheet. Homework- Quiz on Thursday because of the Terry Fox run .	Gym: ran 3 laps around gym. -played 3 games each of indoor soccer. -No hmwk!!!	Science- Water Systems Did- Took up hwk. on page 40-41 and the diagram sheet. Watched movie on oceans and filled in a study sheet to go with it. Got sheets for project on a marine mammal or seabird. PERIOD 3	French- Vagabonds De L'Espace Did oral presentations on a summary of an episode in textbook. Half the class presented today the rest will present tomorrow.	French- Vagabonds De L'espace. Did - the rest of the class presented their orals about an episode of their choice. ( see yesterday for more info) We also worked on journals about if we like this unit or not.	Art: saw examples of chalk pastel flower paintings. - started our own chalk pastel flower drawing. - the end of next art class, flower chalk pastel painting due.	French- Thanksgiving Did- worked on flashcards about things that have to do with Thanksgiving Homework- Get quiz # 2 signed if you haven't already.	French- Thanksgiving Did: Finished Thanksgiving flashcards. Had them mounted in the hall. Homework- None
PERIOD 4	History-Confederation  Worked on presentations about the six causes of confederation . Homework- Be ready to present for tomorrow.	History- Confederation Presented information about the six causes of Confederation. One group did not present. Each group handed out a paragraph about their cause. Homework- Study for the test on the six causes on Confederation next class.	Art: see above	Math- Angles and Lines Did- Had a quiz on finding supplementary, complementary, and opposite angles. Also took down definitions about different intersecting lines	Gym- Power Steal Did: Rock run and played Power Steal on the South field.
PERIOD 5	Math- Discussed different types of angles and worked on homework Homework- pg.87 # 1-16	Music- E Flat concert scale Did- Did little quiz on writing the scale.Worked on 8 bar composition and handed it in . Homework- If you have not had your music test yet, be prepared for it next class.	Math: Terry Fox	Math- Angles and Lines Did- Finished definitions about lines and had a lesson about each of them in turn.
