PERIOD 1	Health - Worked on places where people advertise smoking and title page. No h/w	Drama: we put ourselves in groups for the preparation of STOMP. No H/W	History- we talked about the war of the plains and worked on white booklet.h/w is to finish white booklet.	Music: played instruments	French - Listening test   Study for Vocab Quiz on Monday, Jan. 13/03
PERIOD 2	geo - did Ontario environmental Quiz and Title Page. No h/w	Science: we did a heat quiz and handed in our diagram and definitions	Music- played drums and did call and answer on the insturments. no h/w.	Tech: worked on stacks in hyperstudio	Library - worked on setting for novel study
PERIOD 3	SCIENCE: Took notes summarizing heat and the Particle Theory. Demonstration on states of matter and changes of state. Read pages 18 and 19 of text on changes of state. Complete questions 1-3 from text pg. 19 Complete diagram for notes on states of matter with definitions of each change of state as well as proper name.	Gym: we played with basketballs and got a couple of dribbling tips from Mr. Ibbotson	Gym- we played with basketballs and got some more tips from Mr. Ibbotson,& played dribble wars. no hw.	Science: did a lab and did questions if you're not done its is for HW ............don't forget that we have a link in this website to the science text book.	Gym _ played Basketball

PERIOD 5	French - Finished working on Reading booklets started last December. reviewed Ce, a l' and sortir.	French - worked on wordsearch - p.22 in Cahiers	French -Finished work on booklets and studied for vocab quiz next Monday, january 13	marked french cahiers and then did french vocab quiz	Music - Played instruments
PERIOD 6	Math - Addition and subtraction of Mixed numbers. Practice p. 181 #2-50 - even #'s only Due Tuesday, Jan. 7	math - Continued work on p. 185 #2-40 and did corrections	Math - Quiz on Addition and Subtraction of Fractions and mixed numbers	math learned about recipricals and did dividing fractions and H/W is pg 189 #'s 2 -44 even's	Math - Corrected p.189 #2-44   Did Multiplication and Division of Mixed Numbers Worked on p. 191 ALL. Corrected in class. H/W - #20, 21, 22, 23 on p.191
PERIOD 7	Language - Started group character studies on novels read during the holidays (at least 3 characters per group). Mrs. Harper gave Character Study handout. Individual Character study is due on Friday, January 10 (typed or neatly handwritten).
