PERIOD 1		FRENCH: Took up homework.	MATH: Wrote Probability unit test.	MATH: Reviewed the probability test from yesterday. Marks written in agendas. Started to review for Grade 7 Exit exam, numeration strand. HW: BLM on ordering decimals.	DRAMA: Got a rubric for poem work on poems.
PERIOD 2		GYM: Played indoor soccer.	MATH: Marked unit test. Got our marks back, but tests are being checked before the marks are being put in the agendas. NO HW!	GYM: Ran 100m and 200m race. Played soccer.	FRENCH: Worked on (pink) adjectives worksheet.
PERIOD 3		ART: Worked on art project, due on Thursday.	FRENCH: Took up the rest of the homework.	SCIENCE: Got notebooks back marked from unit 3 Took up questions from lab on particle size and the rate of dissolving. Took note on last lab.	LANGUAGE: HW: Complete the good copy of response to "The Pest", due on Monday (typed). Started the new novel study, The Giver. Discussed all the work that is due and the due dates for the novel study.
PERIOD 4		DOUBLE ART	LIBRARY: Had time to work on art project or any other work.	SCIENCE: Got instructions for lab on solutions and solubility. Conducted experiment (dissolving drink crystals in water of different temperatures) Lab to be completed next class.	LANGUAGE: Had time to work on the novel study work. HW: Start reading The Giver. Response and spelling for the first section is due on May 30.
PERIOD 5		TECH: Worked on websites. Only 1 more class to work on them.	MUSIC: Practised playing the finale.	FRENCH: Worked on activities on adjectives.	SPRING FLING DANCE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EARNED IT!
PERIOD 6		MATH: Took up homework. Reviewed calculating probability of 1 or more events. HW: Complete questions on the board for homework. Review work for test tomorrow.	GEOGRAPHY: Got back notebooks and our marks. Marked the Ch. 2 quiz and got marks back. Started note on Ch. 4. HW: Complete 1st part of note and copy diagram on pg. 209 into notebook. Due next class (Friday).	HEALTH: Took up homework. Talked about test. Read Sammy the Sperm story. HW: Start reviewing for test on MAY 30.	SPRING FLING DANCE!!

LANGAUGE: Reviewed how to write a response. Brainstormed some ideas to put in the response. Started making jot notes for the body paragraphs for a response to "The Pest". HW: Complete rough copy (paragraph format) of response to "The Pest".	LANGUAGE: Compared responses with a partner. Discussed them with a small group and then with the class. Edited own response based on the feedback given from peers. HW: Complete good copy of response (TYPED) and hand in both copies on Monday.	SPRING FLING DANCE!!
