PERIOD 2	MUSIC: Watched movie on Litzt and did a seven question quiz. Test on #57 tomorrow.	MUSIC: Did Tests on Number 57. No homework.	GYM: Worked on Dances. Presentations begin next week.	FRENCH: Had 5 minutes to study for test. Did test. Worked on page 17 from booklet. Announcement due tomorrow.	GYM: Worked on dance routines. Presentations begin next week.
PERIOD 3	SCIENCE: Continued working on map assignment - plotting major earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountain ranges. -map must be coloured, have a legend, north arrow, title and be accurate. -Due next class (tomorrow)	ART: Worked on painting pictures. No homework. Finish off art work at recess if not done today.	MATH: Intro to new unit, Measurement of 3-D Shapes. Had lesson on 8.1 3-D Figures and 8.2 Identifying and Classifying Polyhedra. HW: define edge, face and vertex and pg. 267 # 1-33 (skip #20).	SCIENCE: Handed in mapping assignment - Parents please check agenda as many students not completed. Watched video on Earthquakes and defined terms focus, epicentre, Richter Scale, Tsunami. Discussed design challenge - to create an "earthquake proof" building. Got into groups and began planning construction.	MATH: Worked on assignments and projects. Played "whiz kids" (Eric worked on his history on the computer because he is such a diligent and dedicated student) No homework.
PERIOD 4	SCIENCE: Continued.	ART: Continued.	GEOGRAPHY: Finished diagrams for LOWER N. Discussed most of the notes & diagrams for LOWER N. HW: Make sure book is up to date for next class.	SCIENCE: Research different forms of building construction to ensure stability and resistance to earthquakes. Will continue working on building construction next period. PERIOD 5	MATH: Took up homework. Reviewed rules for test tomorrow. HW: Review sheet.	MATH: Wrote the integers unit test.	INFORMATION STUDIES: Worked on history assignment and got rubric. No homework.	MATH: Took up homework and worked on page 269 #1-6. Due tomorrow. GOT TEST MARKS BACK! PLEASE GET AGENDA SIGNED.	LANGUAGE: Took up worksheet on plural forms of nouns and possessive nouns. PERIOD 6	HISTORY: Worked on project on Loyalists. Finish independently - due on Monday April 7th No more class time to work on it!!	MATH: Marked most of the test and handed in our books. NO HOMEWORK	DRAMA: Talked about poems and acted out poem. No homework.	TECH: Worked on using Quattro Pro for creating bar and line graphs. To be saved in F: Drive/students/ graphing assignments/ 7h	TECH: Worked on creating web pages using geocities. Finished graphing assignments.
PERIOD 7	LANGUAGE: Had some time to finish spelling activities. Handed them in for marking.	LANGUAGE: Handed in spelling. Lesson on identifying nouns and adjectives, as well as on common vs proper nouns. Worked on booklet on nouns. Due for tomorrow.	LANGUAGE: Took up grammar assignment on identifying nouns in sentences, and on common and proper nouns. Got new spelling activities to work on for next week.
