LANGUAGE: Take up character sketch samples and edit in small groups. Discuss elements of a level 4 character sketch. Hand in second setting description with picture. |
LANGUAGE: Introduction to setting description assignment. In groups, brainstormed a list of all of the settings in the novel. Wrote a few details about each one. Discussed the overall setting of the novel (ie time period, general location, era etc...) |
LANGUAGE: Writing - worked on rough draft of setting description paragraph for one of the key settings from the novel. Rough copy due for editing on Thursday. Good copy due on Monday. |
