PERIOD 1	French: Finished up Word Searches. Traded with a partner. Listened to tape and wrote down speaker. No homework.	French: Watched movie on circus. Had a worksheet to complete on the movie.   No homework. Vocab Test Next Week.	French: Copied down verbs from board. Worksheet on circus (Fill in the Blanks) No homework. Vocab Test Mon. 16th of September	Health: Took up and discussed homework (examples of food groups) Discussed calories and took notes. Got two handouts No homework.	French: pop quiz on vocabulary. PERIOD 2	Music: Played drums and corrected homework. Booklets Collected. No homework.	Music: Took up activities 3 and 4. Completed other activities in books.   No Homework	Gym: Played soccer and two warm up laps. No homework	French: Finished cards about ourselves. Test on Wednesday the 18th, not on the 16th. Cards due next Friday.	Gym: rock run and 500m run. played soccer.
PERIOD 3	Science: Took up homework on simple food chain. Lesson on sun/earth relationship. Discussed criteria for point form notes. Used text to make point form notes on sun.	Art: Began working on designing portfolios.   Due for Next Class.	Math: Took up homework. Lesson on long division with decimals. Hwk. pg. 35 # 2 - 12	Science: Lesson on the Scientific Method. Got a handout explaining each step. Conducted Jason Priestly's Experiment on plants and oxygen. Discussed how to write up a lab report.   Sections 1-4 of lab write up due next class (re written in complete sentences)	Math: Lesson on order of operations pg. 39 #1 - 27 odd only. pg 39. #2 - 12 even. Language: Worked on converting word web for autobiography into a structured list for paragraphing and first draft. First draft due on Tuesday. Will have writing time in class.

PERIOD 7	Language: Shared rough draft of "I AM" poem with a partner. Discussed what a level 4 poem "looks like". Shared some poems out loud.	Language: Discussed expectations in reading assignments. Completed reading of biography sheet of Mariah Carey. Answered and took up questions.	Language:  10 mins of silent reading. Introduction to Autobiography assignment. Language textbook handed out.
