PERIOD 2	NO SCHOOL	Intro Continued., Began working on name tags for tomorrow. Must be neat and contain pictures of things that you like to do. Four corners left open.	French - worked on four page booklet of activities and word searches. Page 1 checked in class. No homework	Gym - played soccer and did rock run!	French: practiced oral participation. word search due on Monday. Study Vocabulary for test in 2 weeks.
PERIOD 3	NO SCHOOL	Rotary Visists with teachers. 10 minutes to get overview of all rotary subjects. Discuss items needed for each class.	Science: Introduction to Ecosystems. Investigated a closed ecosystem. - Worked on 8 questions from handout , due next class. - title page paper handed out, due at end of unit.	Math -Lesson on Place Value and Rounding. Pg. 11 #5 - 26 and #34- 46 First Column only. Pg. 17#1 - 16 Even Only Pg. 19 #1 - 11 Odd Only & 25 - 27	Math: Took up homework from yesterday. Discussed exponents and powers of 10. PERIOD 5	NO SCHOOL	Language. Took note on Capitalization. Worksheet with 10 sentences to correct. Due tomorrow. Read letters from last year's grade 7's.	Math: Lesson from page 9 of textbook on decimals and place value. #15 - 37 due for next class.	Language: Handed in registration and lunch forms. Attentive Listening and Speaking Activity. Shared Name Tags. No homework.	Science: Took up homework and made additions/ corrrections to notes. Got handout on importance of the sun. Complete handout question for Monday.
PERIOD 6	NO SCHOOL	Language:  Continued to work on name tag to be finished for Language Tomorrow.	Tech: Introduction to computer lab and routines. Log on to network and change password. Set up home directory with computer and other file folders. Begin work on Letter Assignment. - Assignment Criteria handed out. Due at end of next class.	Tech: Worked on Corel Word Perfect Letter Writing Assignment. Due at end of next class. (Work on rough draft if required)	Geography: Introductory Lesson on Geography. Got Textbook. Got Baseline Map of Canada. Map must be completed for Sept. 16th
