Rush
Phi Sigma Pi is dedicated to excelling in scholarship, leadership and fellowship. Okay, with that said, what does it mean?

Scholarship:  To become a brother you must maintain a 3.0 GPA and have between 12 and 90 credits at Towson.  (we require at lest 12 credit hours so that you have an     established GPA and we require that you have no more than 90 credits)

Leadership:  Within the fraternity there are several opportunities to hold leadership positions, preparing you for the responsibilities of the real world.

Fellowship:  We are a fraternity, so social events are important in maintaining our brotherhood.

What does rush mean?

Rush is the opportunity to go to several phi sigma pi sponsored events, where you will get to meet the brothers and the brothers will get to meet you.  This is a period for you to decide if this is an organization you would be interested in becoming a part of .  Phi Sigma Pi has a no hazing policy!  The rush schedule can be seen on the left side     of this page.

If I enjoy rush, what happens next?

During rush you will fill out an application for a bid.  We will notify you as soon as possible with our decision.  If you are extended a bid you will begin a 9 week long  initiation program, which will teach you the history of the fraternity and everything else you need to know to be a successful brother. Friendships made during initation are remarkable and it will be one of the most worthwhile experiences of your life.
