| Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. was founded in Tempe, Arizona, on January 25, 1993 at Arizona State University. Our goals are to promote cultural awareness, positive youth role models, and commitment to community. Our pillars of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity are the foundation of our organization and they symbolize our devotion to self, sisterhood, and community. April 7, 2000 is the date in which Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority, Inc. was born into the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. The founders of Mu Chapter, which we are very thankful for are Kathy Deignan, Monica Anaya, Rachel Napoles Carrera, Carmen Martinez, and R.I.P. Maria Aguila. Following them where are wonderful charters Cindy Guzman, Monica De Leon, and Lockie Sanchez. And we continue to grow as our wonderful white rose blooms. Opportunites to network, gain experience for leadership skills, and work with other who are also determined to make a difference through community assistance are only some of the benefits of our sisterhood. Gamma Alpha Omega Sorority Inc., is an environment which brings about a unique and worthwhile part of the university experience. |
