Binary ~ Home          Welcome to my binary pages. Here I will give you lessons on binary so you can learn the concept of the base 2 numbering system, and I will also try to teach you how to count, add, subtract, divide, and multiply in binary. And finally, I will give you tables of ASCII characters, including the 26 english letters, both upper and lower case. Also, the links on the side may be broken over the next few days I edit this, because I have a lot of plans for the binary section, which may not be up all at one time(I know I'm an amazing person, but such things are very difficult even for people like me;)) Intro
To start, binary is in base 2, meaning it uses 2 symbols. Those symbols are 1, and 0. To help you understand that, you can look to base 10, which is the standed, and it uses 10 symbols, as its base indicates. Those symbols, are 0-9. Base 10 is the most commonly used system, because it is the easiest to use, and most of the world seems to agree that the decimal system works pretty darned well.
