  • My Fair Lady -- a book, play and then film which never starred Barbra Streisand. Play starred Julia Andrews and film starred Audrey Hepburn. It may be the writers were thinking of Funny Girl, which did star Babs ... or maybe Hello, Dolly.

These were fab Japanese costume films where a giant mutant lizard stepped on/ate/torched most major cities, always Tokyo. In MechaGodzilla, there is an armor covered robot Godzilla designed by Tokyo scientists to whup Godzilla in the butt. Kick Ass.

  • Babs' disguise -- is a set of Groucho Marx glasses/nose/moustache.

  • tiny twins in the shell -- these are the Pacific Island fairie twins who are the friends of Mothra, another giant mutant creature from the Godzilla films. Mothra was a huge caterpillar who lived in her cave until the little twins called to her by singing. Then she came out and destroyed subway (tube) tunnels and spewed her silken threads all over everything and laid eggs and other general bru-ha-ha.

  • Robot Leonard Maltin -- in the film Godzilla vs Megalon, I think, a child's robot is actually a super hero robot, and can grow to enormous size to fight or help Godzilla. And the robot does strike that amazing Spice Girls pose.
