Antony had joined the Marines himself a few years later. He had been wounded in action, but he is fine today. He walks with a bit of a limp today, but overall he is fine. He has an awesome family; a wonderful wife, a lovely daughter, and Ant is the proud father of two U.S. Marines, who are both deployed to Ramstein airbase in Germany, out of harms way.
Cut to a slow motion scene of Schuyler standing in front of the school. Antony walks by and says something to her, but you cannot hear what he says. But she smiles and leans back slightly laughing. Narration continues.
I haven�t heard from Sky in years. When I last heard from her, in a letter she sent me with no return address, she told me that I remind her of that day and that she didn�t want to see or hear from me anymore. I wanted to write her back, to tell her that I thought that was a bad idea, but I had to find out where she was. I never found out. About a year ago, I saw a billboard with her picture on it. She�s apparently an actress now. I found out where she lives, but I figured it would be best if I just let her be. I figure she would do better without me in her life. Depressing I know.

Holden had been buried in the same cemetery as my grandpa. I visit both their graves every day. Pause. Jenny wound up making nearly a full recovery from that day. She was in pretty bad shape. Not only physically, but mentally. I had to be the one who broke the news about Holden to her. That, was not a good day�
Cut to a normal scene of Darien sitting on his car on the mountain, overlooking the city.
Me? Well, after seven failed suicide attempts, I�m doing much better. I�ve come to accept death as a natural part of life. Not a day goes by though that I don�t think about that day. I visit Jenny every now and then. She�s got a beautiful family. It hurts though, to know that Sky has thrown me out of her life. I�m single, so ladies, come and get me if you want, hah! I figure a sense of humor is needed to make it through life. Life is filled with tragedies, that day proved it to me. I had to stop being so damn arrogant and recognize the facts of life. I�m not afraid of death, and I�m not surprised by it, so when my parents died, I didn�t make such a big deal about it. They died in a car accident, hit by a drunk driver. And no, that driver wasn�t my brother. I learned many things that day. I consider that to be the day I grew up. Death is natural, it comes when it comes. Yes, death is always sad, especially when it happens to someone you love, but you can�t stop it. I said before that it was the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end, but really, now that I think about it, it was probably the most influential and spiritual day of my life. It was the beginning of a new beginning. My life has had ups and downs, every life does. I just really wish that it would take something other than a tragedy to make people realize some things about themselves�
Darien�s cell phone rings. Darien answers it.
Darien (on phone):
Hello? Pause Yes. Pause. Yes, I�ll take care of it. Pause. Tell Tommy I�ll be there shortly. Okay? Okay. Bye.
He hangs up and hops off the hood of his car. He puts the phone in his pocket. He opens the car door, and stops to look at the camera.
Darien:
What do I do now? I play with the kids at the hospital, the kids with cancer. These kids are awesome, I recommend you do it. It�s a very inspirational and spiritual experience. Be safe, please. Don�t go seeking the reaper, let the reaper seek you.
He hops in the car and music plays. He backs up while the camera remains still. The car drives off and the camera turns around to film the overlooking view of the town. The camera starts to zoom into the horizon and fades to black and the credits role.
