Later,he sends his troops to South Figaro,with a prisonners ,Celes,to take on the city.Locke helped her to get away from her chain.She was also one of his Captain in the empire.She was moving his troops through the world.
He was betrayed by Edgar Figaro when trying to take his castle.Edgar then shows his true face and join the Returners officially,bringing his brotehr ,Sabin,all along with him.
Kefka,as mean as he is,send an assault over Doma castle,unleashing his soldiers.Finally,the army sent to Doma castle,has been destoyed by Cyan,helped by Sabin and maybe Shadow.In poisoned the river near the castle and everybody died there.Cyan took his finest sword and chase Kefka with a taste of vengeance.
Setzer was kind of working for the Empire,taking some packages from the Empire city to about anywhere in the World.When he met with Celes,he finally turned his back over Kefka and joined the Returners.
Kefka opened the gate of the World of the Espers and unleash a power unknown to human.The espers destroyed the city of the Empire because they were not used to be freed from there homeplace.They all gathered in a cave near Strago and Relm's hometown.Kefka and the Emperor Gesthal said they wanted to have a discussion with the Espers,but finish by betraying them.They killed every Espers on sight and gathered all there power.General Leo ,not knowing Kefka would do such a thing,tried to stop him ,but in vain.He gave his life to stop Kefka and now it gave much more spirits to the Returners to stop and kill Kefka.
Gesthal and Kefka returned to the world of the Espers and bring up in the sky.Up there ,clear from any attack,they used weapons to terrorrize the peoples down there.With the help of their airship,the Returners finally approach Kefka near enough to kill him.But Kefka replaced the Statues of the Three Godesses ,and that would cause the destruction of the world as it his and remodel it the way Kefka wanted it.Then Shadow came and replace the Statues so Kefka would be stuck behind them.Since the world would still be changed,the floating continent was destroyed at the same time,giving few time for the Returners to get away.
Kefka did survived even with all those events and he then started builing the tower where he could start his evil project and became the surpeme God.
