Control Pete using the Left & Right arrow keys - when Pete is near a cannon a ring will indicate that you can control and fire that cannon.

Use the Up & Down arrow keys to set the angle of the connon and the Space Bar to fire. If you wait too long to fire and the ship gets to the middle of the ocean it will fire back at you and you will loose an X. After 8 it's GAME OVER and your ship will sink.

Don't forget to look out for treasure chests after you sink a ship. Shoot them with the cannon and it will reapir some of yous ship.
