Caution : You must
have a proper Java Runtime Enviroment(JRE) for the following installations,
to get one for your system, go here...
Win95/98
In order to install Z-BoT Extreme on your Windows compatible
machine: Using the double click technique described in the
"How to use the Mouse" manual (you should have received
with your mouse), maneuver your cursor over the zbot1.0a.zip,
which if you don't have already, is available to your left, then
"double click it". Extract the file's
contents into a folder. Assuming you have jdk1.2/1.2.2 you
can use the batch file. Or if you have a different version
of jdk you may edit the batch file to look in the proper
directory. Otherwise use the following command to execute Z-BoT java -jar zbot.jar Z-BoT
will make its self at home after that, creating its datafiles, and
having you create a custom configuration file. The rest
should be a piece of cake(cake not included). You can also get
the JavaSoft JRE for windows at : http://www.javasoft.com/products/jdk/1.2/jre/download-windows.html
MacOS
First thing is first, I'm going to assume
you DON'T have a Java Runtime Environment, and if you do, you
probably aren't reading this. Get it at: http://www.apple.com/java/ After
doing what ever you do with things on a macintosh, try your best
to get Z-BoT to work, sorry I can't help.
LINUX
You'll need http://www.blackdown.org/

I'm assuming that command will come in handy.

+m = master, all commands
+o = operator, can use most commands, add ops, add
bans
+b = ban from everything
