World of Chaos, the beginning and the end of existance.
After the Balance wars had ended, Merlin, now king of Chaos, joined his efforts with the other worlds in an effort to maintain some form of balance throughout the worlds. A man who had been through both order and chaos, peace and war, and one who had the blood of all four in him, understood that to loose the balance would end even the lives of those in Chaos.
On a visit from Serma, King Jeremy had brough his son Merandez, who accidently fell into the Pit of Chaos. In an effort to save the child, Jeremy released the Tiaga, a hord of noncorporeal demons that threatened to upset the balance and who craved the chance to live inside human flesh.
Merlin began a hunt, hoping to stop the Tiaga before upsetting the balance too far and causing another war. Before they could be tracked down, Merandez held a coup in Serma, and Merlin's attentions were dragged to an emergency meeting to determine the steps that needed to be taken.
The Tiaga's trail had grown cold, and the balance did not seem to be rippling, so Merlin left them where they had vanished, and kept a vigilant eye on Serma.
As suddenly as the first coup had occured, a second one came, breaking all the ties and upsetting the balance. Merlin was quick to respond, sending Jalea, the leader of the Chaosian armies to investigate and hopefully curb the damage that was being caused.
Jalea was waylayed in shadow, and through a valiant battle, was entreated by the powers to correct the damage that had been caused by Merandez and the Tiaga so long ago.
With the help of some stragglers from the other powers, they removed a magical item from an evil person only known as The Conquorer during a battle on a small world that was home to two of the Serman delegates. With assistance from the powers, they restored the Queen of the Tiaga to her proper place in the Pit of Chaos. They enticed the rest of the Tiaga to follow their queen back to the Pit, destroying a world in the process. Then, as a final step, they restored life to the destroyed world and placed it back to what it was before the Tiaga had swept their war across it.
